Booking and trip cancellation policy

Modification and Cancellation of Reservations

Cancellation Policy

Partial cancellation of a reservation is not permitted. In the event that the client wishes to cancel their trip, the following policy will apply.

MANASLU ADVENTURES incurs non-refundable expenses prior to cancellation, so the penalties reflect actual unrecoverable costs.

Additional products or services purchased after the confirmation of the reservation cannot be cancelled less than 45 days prior to the start of the trip. Cancellations made with less than 45 days notice will incur a penalty ranging from 20% to 100% of the amount of said services.

1. Cancellation by the client

All cancellations must be requested in writing, through our contact form or by email.

The request will become effective once received by our team. If it arrives outside of business hours, it will be considered received on the next business day.

If a trip has specific cancellation conditions, these will be indicated in the “Conditions” section of each program. In the absence of special conditions, the following cancellation expenses will apply:

Notice prior to the start of the trip Cancellation Expenses
45 to 31 days 20% of the total amount
30 to 21 days 40% of the total amount
21 to 15 days 70% of the total amount
14 days or less / No-show 100% of the total amount

Failure to show up will be considered a “No Show” and carries a 100% penalty with no right to a refund.

Management fees and other non-refundable charges will not be returned.

If you have travel insurance and your reason for cancellation is covered, you may claim directly from the insurance company.

2. Cancellation by MANASLU ADVENTURES

In the event of cancellation for reasons not attributable to the client, the client shall have the right to terminate the contract in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions.

MANASLU ADVENTURES may cancel the trip by refunding all payments made or issuing a non-refundable travel credit, without obligation for additional compensation, in the following cases:

  • When the number of participants is less than the minimum required (this will be notified at least 30 days before departure).

  • When unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances exist that prevent the correct execution of the trip (for example, natural disasters, conflicts, health restrictions, or border closures).

In both scenarios, the cancellation will be communicated to the traveler without undue delay.

After formalizing the reservation, the User must review the data to detect material errors. Any modification or cancellation must be requested by email to info@manasluadventures.com.

They will only be considered valid once Manaslu Adventures confirms them by email. If the User does not show up, the cancellation policy indicated at the time of reservation will apply. The User will be informed of any possible modification or cancellation charges according to the conditions established at the time of booking.
